Bullfrog Rana catesbeiana

Largest frog in Illinois 9-15cm TL. Color can be varying shades of green to brown. Dots of color usually brown on green can be often be seen. Ventral can be yellow to pale in color. Tympanum will be at least as big as the eye, with males having a much larger tympanum. Back legs are often striped with darker colors. Rear feet are webbed.
